Gents,

  

 I was just wondering, could the USAF have had an  agreement with the manufacturer of the Firefly to not release the airplane to  the public.  I think, although it has been many years ago and my memory is  suspect, that Beech and the government had such an agreement concerning the  T-34, although it did make it's way into the public domain.

  

 Just a thought.
