Any one out there have knowledge of how the trim cable should be in the PA-16. Mine is slipping and I have been told that it should wrap the small pulley in the cockpit 1 and one half times. The cable is not long enough for this. It slips at the handle

I have a Clipper but I don't know the answer for you. Have you tried the Short Wing Piper Club (SWPC)? www.shortwing.org
They have a mailing list and a forum. The mailing list gets more traffic and you should be able to get an answer there same day.
