Since you asked for some specific T-34 info I will give you some as well as impressions between all of them as I have flown all of them.
My T-34 has 84 gallons burning 15 gph (at) 163 KTAS which gives a no reserve range of 912 nm / 1685 km in actual style and comfort with a huge baggage area with an external door.
The only thing that may be better at XC would be an SF260. A little faster but not sure about range and baggage area.
The wing spar issue is long ago resolved and wasn't an actual fleet problem but a specific problem for commercial ACM operations that were flying the planes very hard with lots of hours and g cycles. Even the F-15/16/18 wear out! Anything made will fail with enough g's and cycles. Regardless all the flying T-34's have had their wings inspected and modified in some way and their lives have been extended far beyond our own.

The 52 is a great local plane and is the best of them at aerobatics. It's also in my opinion the best bang for your buck. The CJ will cost a bit more, is a bit faster and has better luggage but no inverted system and is not as good at acro. The T-34 will cost the most of the 3 to purchase and is the fastest with the best baggage and any US A&P can work on it easily and parts are off the shelf from tons of suppliers. T-34 acro ability is almost identical to the CJ. Based on comparison between local 50, 52, CJ, and 34 MX cost works out to be similar with similar usage. The T-34 is mostly gas and go but will cost more when it does need something while the CJ / 52 require a lot more MX per flight hour as oil and air leaks are the most often being chased. Parts will cost a bit more for the 34 but the Russian / Chinese parts are increasing in cost every year.
Best advice I can give is:
1) buy the right plane for your mission (the way you will use it)
2) buy something that you can support locally (parts, mechanic, etc)
3) lean towards something that the people you fly with will be flying although any of these planes can fly form with the others.
4) buy the best example you can find/afford (lowest hours/best restoration). You can pay now or you can pay later but you will always pay in aviation.
The T-34, CJ-6 , Yak 50/52, T-6, SF-260 and T-28 are all great airplanes and I would own one of each if I could.
