Hi all,
this is just an advance warning that the Annual Laddingford Fly-in, scheduled to take place this Saturday (1st August), will probably be postponed until Sunday (2nd August). The weather forecast for Saturday at the moment is quite bad, whereas Sunday looks promising.
We will probably make the formal descision tomorrow and I'll post it here.

Hi all,
it's now official, due to the weekend weather forecast, the Laddingford Fly-in 2009 will be this SUNDAY 2nd AUGUST.
Open to all Europa people, Laddingford has 2 runways. 11/29 at 750 Mtrs and 03/21 at 450 Mtrs.
All circuits at 1000ft to the North or East trying your best to avoid any housing and make calls on SafetyComm 135.475
Landings are free.
Food and drinks will be available at the barbeque from about 12.30 ish. where we will ask for a small donation of £5 towards the costs. Any profits will go towards a donation we make annually after this event to the Kent Air Ambulance which in the past has varied between £300 and £400.
We look forward to welcoming you to our aerodrome especially this will be the first weekend when our new clubhouse is fully up and running (well except for the shower which it looks like I will not be able to fit until next week).

we had a great day at the re-scheduled Annual Laddingford Fly-In yesterday.
A bad weather forecast for Saturday forced us to postpone the Fly-In for 1 day to the Sunday when we had fantastic weather.
24 Europas were to be seen at this gathering plus another 14 aircraft and a low fly-past by the kent Air Ambulance helicopter.
Well over 100 barbecue meals were served up and a whole load of people were taken for a pleasure flight. In fact if you were responsible for taking anybody for a flight could you please e-mail the details to 2pk(at)peterkember.co.uk (2pk(at)peterkember.co.uk) as Pete keeps a record of these things.
Once again a memorable day. Thank you to everyone who managed to get there.
