Hello group ,I have just come up with a bright  (cheap for me ) idea .I am in the process of completing my instrument panel .I  only need a few white on clear labels to identify a few things like flaps, trim  ect. Instead of me buying a Brother P label maker for a one time use is  there someone on the site that has gone this way before me that may have the  equipment to make me a few labels .If so I can sent a list of what I need .  Thanks

I like the idea of using a inkjet water slide decals. It is inexpensive and you can do pretty much anything you want with your drawing software and inkjet printer. Print it, then thin coat of lacquer, cut out of the sheet and you're done. If you don't like the look, just  spray water over it and you can remove it without any trace.

You might check with a local print service like Staples, or Kwik Copy and see if they can make your labels.



I like Pavel's idea for the decal paper. You could make a ton of labels on a single sheet of paper using your computer and inkjet printer. Thanks for the info, Pavel.

It is not my idea, I'm not that smart, unfortunately. There is an article about a panel lettering in the last issue of Kitplanes Magazine.

I think this works for most colors except for white on clear.  The P-touch 

brother label maker can make this combo but this tape is not offered in most 

stores. It can be found on the net.
