Hi, gang,

At present, Mary and I are battening down the hatches for Gustov. Hope
this thing comes and goes, quickly. Don't know if we'll have power by
tomorrow, this time, but will stay in touch as long as possible. Still
planning on driving to Rough River. See you all Friday evening...

RR gang,

Since I have a non-refundable airline ticket to Louisville, I'll be
there irrespective of the weather (well, that may be a stretch). I do
hope that somebody is flying in in their baby since I've shipped ahead
a set of wing root fairings for show and tell.

I see Gustav's track curving westward, away from KY.

Fred,
Unless the sky falls I will have N128LJ there for the festivities.
Looking forward to seeing your demo.

Hi All,
Just to let the rough river goers know, I had originally planned to bring 2
gas cans for you guys to refuel with. Now looks like we'll be riding the
bike. Will check weather.com in the am for a final decision. I think others
had planned to bring some cans anyways. Sorry.

Hi guys,
Check Airnav.com, as there are several airports in the area that sell gas on sunday via credit card. I'll be fueling on Sunday 40 miles north on my way back to Dayton ohio.

Just want to thank Jeff Behrnes and Paul McCallister for their
leadership in making the 2nd Annual Rough River Europa Fly-In a
complete success...hurricane weather notwithstanding. For me it was so
nice to be able to put faces to names from this forum and to meet a
wonderful group of people. The opportunity to exchange information and
stories was much appreciated...and to hear from Bud Yerly about pending
events regarding the Europa company and products...I trust Bud will
flesh this out to the forum at large when time permits.

It was great to see a line up of the 3 Europa variants...Paul's XS
mono, Scott Dingman's XS conventional taildragger, and Jeff Robert's XS
trigear.

I could not resist Paul's offer of a hop to a lowly builder...an
unexpected pleasure...thank you Paul!

Thanks to everyone who came ahead and drove-in when their flying plans
were squelched by the marginal weather all day Friday,

Fred
