You are right, Dave, an oil leak won't repear itself as we do from e.g. the flu. Mechanical faults only get worse with time.
Thank you for the detailed explanation, Lynn. I will replace that seal but ... I must wait. You see, I had a operation and I still have the stiches. I am not supposed to lift my left arm more than 90 degrees and ... as you know, there isn't much room behind a Jabiru in a Kitfox. But I will get to it.
Incidentally, I just went flying a few touch and go, today, with my son as the PIC. It was nice to be in the air again, even as a passenger.
