Pint of Bitter too please.

Hi Dave,

Wow! I think beer for breakfast is a bit much although at one time Porter
and Stout were drunk at beakfast time I believe. Stout would have been
something like Guinness. Strong stomachs they must have had.

Wouldn`t say `No` to a little heart starter of champagne and orange juice
though. With smoked salmon and scrambled eggs of course.
Cheers

Pat

With that champagne and OJ, you need a tiny dash of Creme de Cassis to richen it up. Does wonders. Lar. Do not Archive.

I lived in England for 2 years around South Hampton,>>

Hi Craig,
my mate took me flying in his Eurostar last week. The one in which I used to
have a share. We flew from the home strip near Bath to White Waltham just
outside Reading then to Sandown on the Isle of Wight. We flew over
Southampton, across the Solent to the island. landed there and had lunch,
scampi and chips, and then flew all along the south coast of the Island to
The Needles. Then back to Hurst and across the New Forest to Salisbury and
then home. Great day, supe viz.
You would find things changed here, Pub food for one. When you were here I
suspect that pub food consisted of a Ploughmans lunch with a hunk of bread,
cheese and a couple of pickled onions. Now with the drink, drive laws beer
consumption is down and pubs have made up the shortfall by going in for food
in a big way.Hence Scampi and chips at Sandown flying Club. We didn`t what
Scampi was, when you were here
Cheers

Pat

I did love cod & chips served on news paper moor than you could eat for
2&6! And a warm corona. The last time I was in London I had a hard time
as all the signs were in Arabic.

Hi Craig,
you must have got to some exotic part. A good proportion of shop signs are
in Chinese or Indian as apparently Indian take away meals are Englands
favourite dish. Vindaloo and Heineken...wow..how cosmopolitan can you get?

Cheers

Hi Gang:

This conversation is entirely for the benefit of two individuals on
the Kolb List. Has absolutely nothing to do with Kolb Aircraft,
building or flying. This is a good example of what should be taken bc
between these two individuals.

If they were discussing antique tractors, dirt bikes, women (ones that
can not run too fast), I'd be interested in what they have to say.
However, they aren't discussing any of those subjects and I am not the
least bit interested.

Pretty simple to insert the individual's email address that you wish
to chat with, rather than hit reply so everyone on the Kolb List has
to dig through it and delete. Yes, I have a delete key and I use it a
lot.

Please!!! try to stick to something related to Kolb Aircraft. Thanks,

john h
mkIII (No, I am not the List Monitor. I am one of many members of the
best aircraft email List in existence and I am going to try and keep
it that way.)

Whoops,
Sorry John and All.

this list is the `wrong` way round when compared with other lists which I am
on. On the others hitting `Reply` automatically sends your message to the
individual NOT to the list.
If you wish to respond to the list then the `Cc.` facility is used.. This
tends to keep individual comments off the list.

Still, no excuses. I have been here long enough to know better.

Cheers

Pat
