hi List

I've just fitted a Dynon SV32 pitch servo to a Jabiru J170C, but not yet test-flown.

It certainly has some heavy work due to the two cables and the spring trim it has to work with.

Does anyone have some experience to share ?

thanks

Peter

While not a dynon, I have a GRT servo in a jabiru 450 experimental. I utilized what GRT terms a high torque servo, and it has performed very well. I assume Dynon would have something comparable. It's been in for 400+ hours, with no issues. I used an additional push pull cable to the elevator horn directly from the servo.

thanks Ken

Yes, Dynon make two levels of torque in servos, and did have an even
heavier one.

I had both, and put the stronger one as the roll servo, thinking it
would be seeing more use. I may have to switch them, as the two cables
(elevator and pitch servo) plus the spring on the trim makes for a
heavy load. Will wait to check in flight and advise.
