Ray,

This site is NOT about you; it is not even about WW-- it is about
Corvairs. Take your pissing contest off-line, and keep it there. No
one else cares, even if you are right. And you are beginning to sound
obsessive, like radio talk show hosts and the like. Unlike their
venue, this is not intended to be a personal broadcast medium. Please
repeat,"It is NOT about me," or if it assuages your mental health, "I
am OK; WW is a jerk."

For me, I have the WW book, videos, and a Corvair block. I have met
WW in Wisconsin and seen his pitch. It seems based on facts, data
points, experience. He adopts best practices and fixes his few
mistakes. He tries to do right by people. I think he dealt with
crankshaft issues very professionally, over a long time, and still
does, based on facts, case by case. His recent posts re parts sources
and choices were excellent, even as he was praising competitors or
other sources than his own.

I will continue to rely on William's opinions, his parts and those of
his associates, and his sources in any Corvair I build.

Tim in central TX

What, only those who bow at the altar of WW are allowed in the Corvair movement? It seems WW has now alienated another and won't allow him to attend another of his Corvair Colleges? How petty and small. But he is not WW's only "victim." I have heard from others who are equally qualified with WW in the Corvair movement. WW just won't allow it as they are a threat to his pre-eminence in a very small commercial pond. I think there is a growing revolt against his "Corvair highness" WW. It seems only those who are WW sycophants are allowed in according to you, Tim. I acknowledge that WW is very knowledgeable on Corvair issues in exp airplanes and one would do well to follow his advice, but do not argue with him lest you like being insulted and marginalized as you are now trying to do with Ray.
