Dear Europa family,

Walter Swoboda needs for his Classic Monowheel with Rotax 912 new cooling hoses, especially the 180° bended outlet hose. But better would be to replace the inlet hose too.
EA/UK do not have them. Some weeks ago there was a discussion and a result, where you can get these hoses – when I remember right.
Please help out.

Best Regards,

Bruno Reith / Europa Aircraft Germany

Stefan Ingemarsson, also a member of the Europa community, sells
silicone hoses for both the XS and the classic Europa.
His email is ingemarsson.s at telia.com
I just received a set of silicone hoses for my XS from him. I'm not an
expert on hoses but these hoses look ok to me. I hope they don't age as
much as rubber hoses, and they are more heat resistant. And some people
like the blue color (although I usually fly with the cowling securely
closed). If I'm correctly informed, these hoses don't need to be
replaced every five years.

Frans

Hi Bruno,

The factory does have stock of the hoses Walter needs. There were plenty when I retired, and I checked with Karen yesterday that they are still available.

From memory the part numbers are C01 and C02 (C03 is an oil hose).

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Roger
