Have any of you guys used the 1080 HD shock cord to replace the 1080 since the Stratus is a little heavier than the Rotax? How is that working for you. I was wondering if it would be too stiff. My old 1080s really are soft now...they gotta go. don

Hi Don,
Those are what I used on my HDS/Subaru and they bring the cap gap back to 3/16 inch. Smooth as the previous ones
and it’s been 2 years since they were changed out.

Did you use the new nutplate or do it the old fashioned way, Larry? I think I'll use the 1080HD on my HDS TD, too. These babies I have are sagging over an inch.I always wheel land, and they are really soft now.

Don,
I did it the old fashioned way.  Didn’t take too long on the mains though.
