Hi Folks,

As well as my Kitfox II I also own a Circa Nieuport 17 replica. The slip indicator is low on fluid and I cannot seem to find out what type of fluid it takes to refill.. Someone at work (TSB) told me that he thinks it is alcohol. Question.. does anyone out there in the Kitfox community know what fluid I should use to re-fill???
Cheers
Ken

Use the same fluid used for compass rebuilds. Available through Aircraft
Spruce and others.

If that is the case, it is just white kerosene. Larry

All of my slip indicators are sealed in a glass tube with no way to
evaporate or fill. I bought one in the fly market years ago. They had been
taken out of old turn and banks. I made a nice back plate and mounted it
with velcro on the panel of my Chief.
