Hi group.
Figured I would share a potential rudder failure.
After completing rudder cable install, descided to challenge rudder control.
Challenge didn't get too far before had a genuine failure on hand.
The turnbuckle easily got tangled with thimble when rudder pedal was pulled aft against the rudder pedal return spring.
This would still allow full travel to be achieved on the side that got tangled, but would limit travel on the other side because the tangled side would stop out aft by pedals.
Resolution is 2 layers of heat shrink tube.
