I fly on ethanol blend (10%) with no problems.
Carb floats are in good condition and you can monitor these easily.
(as long as 1/3 above the surface Ok). From what I read the Bing
alcohol and additive resistant float and bowl kit had some problems).
Most good quality fuel lines are resistant to ethanol.
Is ethanol going to eat through aluminim fuel tanks ? To me this seems doubtful.
I live in a humid cliamte and keep tanks topped up to avoid chance for
fuel to take up moisture.
I've done plenty of time at 9500 with no sign of vapour lock.

Hi Peter,
That's why Rotax added a return fuel line and would like everyone to have a fuel return line because it helps stave off the vapor lock.
