Is anyone using a horizontal fuel servo and a sniffle valve?

Have a great day!

I am using a sniffle valve on a Lycoming 540X (290HP) built by Barrett Precision Engines which has cold air induction. It has a forward facing Airflow Performance FM300. Barrett provided a sniffle valve for it. I plumbed it back to the left side of the exit air for the Showplanes cowl required for the Barrett Engine about 2 inches aft of the back edge of the cowl. The only time fuel exits is when I shut down a hot engine. All the fuel past the mixture cut off valve boils out of the lines and distributor and runs down to the bottom of the intake manifold where it exits via the sniffle valve. I put a pan under it where I park it in the hanger so it won’t stain the floor blue.
