Congratulations to both Jerry and Bill for a job well done.
Several thoughts come to mind as number 21 and 22 take to the air. First, I am glad to see such a high percentage of completions verses the number sold in such a short time. And second, the Lightning kit has really not been on the market that long so 22 flying already is probably some kind of record in this short time span. There might be other aircraft on the experimental market that can match the performance (but are more expensive), but I know of none that can match the quickness of the Lightning quick build kit which, or course, is the standard kit for the Lightning. So, fast to build, fast and economical to operate, and beautiful to look at and beautiful to fly make the design unique in my mind. To all of you that have flown, congratulations. And to all of you still building, you are going to love your airplane. Thanks to Arion, for making dreams come true.
