Pete,
>From the layout I gather that demos will be flown from the ultralight runway.
Should those of us planning to bring our Lightnings operate from this field also? We should probably be making arrangements for parking now, but I don't know where to start.
Any suggestions from the list?

Demos will not be flown from the UL runway. It is very difficult to demo at SNF. We may be able to do a few early mornings before Nick flys in the showcase. It is best to fly demos before or after the SNF show – on the way to the show or on the way back from.
Those planning to fly in to SNF should plan on the main runway (download the notam and approach procedures from the SNF web site). I’ll see if we can arrange parking in the same row with Buz.
Please do not fly into the ultralight runway as it is short and the approach in interesting. Pilot skills would need to be at a high level to be successful.

Just an echo to Pete's comments
Ryan will fly our demo plane into the Ultralight/Light sport strip, but only by himself and only lightly loaded. We won't do demos out of that strip.
If you havent flown into that strip, it can be quite a challenge to get your bearings. You must stay low (see NOTAM) and the reference points are obscure to the un-initiated.
Also the risk-reward factor is quite high. If you screw up, the whole flying world will know about it. So the risk far exceeds the reward.
We will offer SkyRanger demos via subcontractor but anyone who would spend the money required for a Lightning can easily do a real demo at Green Landings or elsewhere.
