Stormy,
Larry and I are planning to go airport hopping in SWVA today, trying to get an early start, by leaving about 9:30.....heading to LEE Co....the last airport in the tip of VA.....then work our way back during the day.
so we may hollar at you as we pass over your piece of Va heaven.
all plans are subject to change but that is what we think will happen as of this am. Heading to the airport now........yes 55 minute drive to get to the airport!!!.......you are so lucky!

Dennis and I have decided to fly to First Flight on a whim, and will be there later this morning...maybe around noon. Is there anyplace to eat lunch there, or are we going to have to fly all the way down to Okracoke to eat lunch?

You'll have to do some hoofing, but 6-8 blocks' walk from FFA is bound to get you to the Bypass road (158?) and some eats there, if much is open in the off season; most of it probably is.
Then again, Howard's at Ocracoke is nice and they come get you

Well, I packed a PB&J lunch just in case, and my pilot is a cheapskate, so we'll probably end up eating that. GRIN.
