I'm not sure what to call the device that holds the hor. stab and elevator up so one can fold the wings back. I'm looking to make one for my Firestar 2.
In the plans it shows to make it with ropes and pipes. Does anyone have the dimensions for making one that uses the pipe insulation on the pipes? I see on the I could measure it all but was wondering if someone had the dimensions handy.
Thanks,
Jay

The one that I have is 41 inches overall length. It only needs to be
long enough to come down about half of the rudder and keep the
elevator and rudder from slapping around when folded.

Thanks Larry,
I was able to get some PVC pipe and insulation today and made one. Seems to work fine.
