Rotax engine 'Standstill'?

I can only find one reference in the 912/914 manual about some thing call 'standstill' and 2 months, but no other reference to this.
Anyone have any bright ideas of what we should be doing.
Will an engine run only be OK?

The longest I have left my engine with out running it was a year and half. Put fresh fuel and oil in it. Charged the battery. Started first time.
Flew mine last week after a month of standing. Checked under the cowls. Put some air in the tyres. Started first time. Flew better than the pilot
