To all,

We are still here business as usual, and very busy in the shop. We have not used this list in several years mainly due to the decline in customer interest in the group. It was to be used for builders to talk about their builds or flying or whatever spark a discussion. We really didn’t want it to be moderated or run by us so you didn’t get the “Company Line” injected. If there is any way we can get it going again let’s try. One of the big issues was pictures and being able to see them. And a lot of what we post is how to build stuff or fit things and a picture is worth much more. So let’s keep up the discussion.

On another big announcement we made to our web page recently. Arion Aircraft has taken over the Service for all Jabiru engines and aircraft. We do not sell them. Jabiru North America is still the importer of the product and is still your source for new engines, parts, and technically driven questions. The Company running the service department for Jabiru has since closed and moved on to other aviation adventures. So if you need annuals, overhauls, upgrades or anything in between for you Jabiru engine, aircraft, or Jabiru powered aircraft give us a call.

The new Titan 340 powered demo is coming along nicely. Progress is slower than we would like but we are extremely busy and paying customers come first.
The UL520is powered Lighting XS should fly by the end of march. It is nearly ready now but this aircraft is under Canadian Registration and they are slower than the FAA.
Our Current demo N320XS is up for sale, although we haven’t tried really hard to sell it as the replacement is still in process. The new lower cowl has been fitted to eliminate the chin scoop. Improved looks and a performance increase came as well.

Yes we have turned to social media , mainly Facebook to update those out there about the Lighting and what we are up to. From a company stand point it is much easier and quicker to post pictures, links and updates, videos. We don’t really care what information is out there that is the point. I am not telling everyone to go out and get a “Page” but if you want to use the system you can without having any information out except your name. nothing more is need to set it up. All settings can be private and you do not need to upload anything. So maybe give it try.

We will see everyone at Sun N Fun and EAA this year. Those are the Sanctioned stops for the company. Greg our only other active dealer is doing a great job out West.

Talk soon and Safe Flying.
