This is how we balanced the front wheel.
With the new axle spacer in, we inserted a rod and placed it on two pieces of aluminum.
Worked great.
I had some issues with the motorcycle balancer. The cones were just not large enough for the mains even though I sort of got it to work.

Yeah, I had to get my motorcycle balancer with some of the larger
cones. It was one with cones for Ducati bikes.

He's had many people get them for use with cleveland wheels.
The bearings are super sensitive...any imbalance and it rolls
right away. It's real compact too, for packing away.
