I bought the kit from avery. Countersinking the canopy top was very simple.
There is no chance of getting jagged holes when using the permagrit bits. I
found it wasn't necessary to use the countersink cage at all with these.

I'd consider them a must have tool. Ranks right below tungsten bucking
bars.

That sounds good to me. I think I'll get the Permagrit set.

Consistent with my realization that 'grit' type saws and cutters just melt composites. They last and do a faster cleaner job. Didn't know there were countersinks.

I say again (as I finish buttoning up my QB wings), the smaller, denser tungsten bar is real nice - but so is the larger size of the steel. I can't imagine using a large tungsten bar but sometimes my mitts need a larger size bar to get a good grip... and sometimes I just can't get my mitts in there with a big 'ol steel bar.

You've got to love the tools.
