Jim - starting good now - tensioner adjusted, just a little more tweaking.
down to 33 inches in off position, still 37 inches supercharge on.
I am just about due my 50 hr engine inspection, so will be draining oil,
checking comperssions, and retorquing bolts per the manual. might get to some
of it this weekend.
Seems to miss a little bit at less than 25 inches MP in cruise - might need
the injectors cleaned out. Sat for a while before the builder got it running
enough to get the phase I sign off. runs okay, but might be smoother at lower
power settings. High power settings are really smooth and powerful.
so far - pretty happy with the engine!

I tried adjusting the supercharger tension when the starter didn't seem to
stay engaged. I have the 30mm starter solenoid. Apparently I need the
34mm starter solenoid. I have a 12 volt system.

My supercharger is staying "ON" when control is turned "OFF"... tensioner
belt
needs adjusting - should I turn it left to loosen the belt or right to
tighten the belt to allow MP to be 29.9 inches when "OFF"? Four or five
turns?
