Hi All,
I am replacing the cloth braided old style fuel hose on my yet to be
completed classic. I am going to run some Teflon 666 hose from the pump
through the tunnel to a bulkhead fitting on the firewall and a return of the
same quality to the reserve side of the tank. The ACS catalog is a little
vague on fittings that go with the 666 stuff. I need to go from a 1/4" NPT
90deg. on the pump to the appropiate bulk head fitting, times two counting
the return. Then, when it gets to the fitting on the reserve side of the
tank adapter it is now a 1/8" NPT. I want the correct aircraft grade stuff,
avoiding the use of jubilee/spiral hose clamps. I'm having trouble
identifying the compatible bits. I have looked at the archive without the
detail I need. Just tell me where to look I guess is the main question, but
all clues accepted. I will need to source additional configurations of
fittings like these in the future for the FWF side. Thanks to those who have
gone before.

Troy

i know you wouldn't buy from the UK but the web site of a company
called speedflow is great for looking at what's available. they are
essentially racecar fittings but appear to be identical to the
aircraft AN series. We have used them for both alu lines and SS
braided. Web address is www.speedflow.co.uk Even the part
numbers seem the same as AN series No doubt you could find a similar
supplier in the US if ACS can't oblige
