Tony, I fly with the Berube one piece aluminum main wheel. Yes, you do need to control those last few feet to keep from having to go around due to a bounce. I have a lot of the details on that gear and mounting assy. I you would like any information, feel free to email me.

Hi - this mainwheel setup came with the partially built kit that came from Georgia USA. Yes its Berube type but I dont know too much about the specs.



So far its working well but it is a little springy so you have to watch our rate of descent went landing otherwise it tends to bounce very easily.
