Indeed the triumph cap p/n T2108005 does indeed fit, with very close, but not exact dimensions to the stocker, and tested to release around 1.1bar using an inexpensive tester.

The housing is of thinner material, but still adequate. The outer seal is actually floating on a “bearing” eliminating the sliding friction when installing compared to the original. Overall it appears to be higher quality.

Btw, when tested, my original cap was found to be leaking - so i was running at ambiant pressure explaining my blow-off.

Cheers and thanks for the tip!

Service bulletins sb-912-043-r2 and sb-914-029-r3 issued November 2006 uplifted the radiator pressure cap to 1.2bar.

It also has the ROTAX part no for the replacement.

I owned a Triumph Sprint motorcycle and found the radiator cap was the same size and pressure setting although whether you fit that is down to you.
