According to my information my Avid Flyer has been covered with Dacron
or Poly-Fiber. Unfortunately thee are many different types thereof and I
understand that they are not mutually compatible. Does anyone know what
type of this is used in Avid Flyers? Or how I can find out? Thanks.

George -
The fabric is likely Dacron. Certificated fabric is stamped at intervals to identify it by brand, PMA, weight, etc. If you inspect the fabric from inside the structure, you should be able to see the labels.

PolyFiber is an FAA-approved fabric attachment and finishing system. PolyFiber can be identified by its color. PolyFiber's weave-filling compound, PolyFill gives the fabric a pink color, visible from inside the structure.

Download the PolyFiber manual here: https://www.stits.com/store/poly-fiber-manual.html
