Hello
I have a SlickStart fitted to my engine. I bought it off a person that had it sitting on a shelf for years. It was unused but made in 1997.
I kept having starting issues till I realized that the fuse was popping and my hard starting was due to a blown fuse
I eventually had to go from the recommended 5 amp to 10 amp to prevent the fuse from blowing
I returned the unit to Champion, the manufacturers, but they say that they have tested it numerous times and can’t find anything wrong
Has anyone else had a problem with this unit
Thanks
Mike

No. I have worked on several LOM engines with the SlickStart installed and have yet to see any issues at all. All have been very reliable. Steve-- Stephen BeaverTel: 614-937 4189
