Hi Listers,

Has anyone on the list had the chance to remove a 582 from a Model 2 or 3 Kitfox? I pulled mine out for rebuild and had to remove the left rear motor mount first to get the engine out. I don't remember having to do the opposite when I installed it 30 years ago.

Thanks for reading......Ron rliebmann(at)comcast.net (rliebmann(at)comcast.net) Schaumburg, IL

I have a Model 2/582 which I have not removed the engine but could look at mine to provide photos or other info. Let me know if I can assist. I am restoring it and it has not been run in over 20 years. I probably need the engine rebuilt so I'd like to learn what you find out anyway.
