Has anyone wrapped a Europa?
I have not yet been able to find anyone with experience of finishing a composite aircraft in Bogota so I was thinking that this might be an interesting alternative.
Thanks
Will

We did our previous aircraft a Skyranger Nynja very successfully and our Europa will soon be getting a similar treatment. I have attached a photo for you to drool over....

Hi William. If you google it and trawl through the image results I'm sure there is a piece on a yellow Europa which has been wrapped.

William,
Jeff Behrnes (Baby Blue) in Baton Rouge has been involved in aircraft graphics and wrapping for some years. If you can get hold of him he may be able to help.

On my DynAero MCR-4S, all the graphics are vinyl not painted. Where the there was a major colour ie white, light blue (underneath wings) - this was painted.

While computer cut graphics give great flexibility in your design I caution you, it is not how it looks after completion but how it looks in 4 years time. Looking after vinyl graphics on a plane is a lot more difficult than looking after paint, vinyl can get tatty, do not like being exposed to 120 knot winds and do not have the same lustre finish as paint.

Knowing what I know now I would probably have done my design in paint rather than vinyl.

Trust this helps

Cheers Peter

A tip I learnt on mach .8 planes, stickers well placed and free from blisters, edge seal with superglue- simply apply a thin bead along the edge of the adhesive and let it harden, or use an accelerator spray.
