All,

Happy to report we have returned the YAK to service.

Ended up being a bad generator.

We went with the Trig TT21/TN72 for experimental installation.

Easy to install, lightweight, works great, low power load.

And,

On departure, GEN fail light flickered.

After level off GEN fail light says on.

Unable to reset on ground per checklist

We installed the flow restrictors on all inputs to the gear actuators.

What a difference in the gear cycle time and no banging to the stops.

Best $30 you can spend on your Yak/CJ

I know there are suppose to be flow restrictors in the system to the gear actuators.

1. How many?
2. What locations?
3. Source of replacements?
4. Any other information I s ...
